General information

The company Rhenus Midgard operates two modern bulk and break bulk terminals in Nordenham. They have many years of experience particularly in the handling and storage of sea cables (telecommunication and power cables – both export and infield). They have a quay specially designed for the handling of cables. In the northern part of the town (Blexen) there are two adjacent industrial areas, in part owned by the Rhenus Group, each with an area of approx. 150,000m², which are most suitable for the industrial production of components for offshore wind power. In the terminals there are a number of sheds equipped with overhead cranes enabling on-site assembly.
